Books I Have Read

Theology is the study of God.  Nothing is as important as reading and understanding His word, will and ways. Charles Spurgeon called it our, “battle ax and weapon of war”. Academic discoveries in the word of God quicken the Holy Spirit within and lead us to spiritual revelation. In short, head knowledge will lead to heart knowledge.

bill books bible“Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth. Forsake her not, and she shall preserve thee: love her, and she shall keep thee. Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding. Exalt her, and she shall promote thee: she shall bring thee to honour, when thou dost embrace her.” Proverbs 4: 5-8

It is essential that we read, study and comprehend the Holy Bible.

The following is a partial list of hardcover books I have read. I recommend them all. These books will give a sense and an understanding to scripture. All have been very helpful and of great benefit to me.

I have also listed reference materials that I use on a daily basis. Online books, articles and commentaries have been omitted.
