The Silence Of God

The Silence Of God

God’s word is meant to be spoken and expressed. They are also meant to be practiced and lived. The man of God will do both, speak and live God’s word. The devil’s son will speak them but live far from God’s message of life and love.

Silence

“But unto the wicked God saith, What hast thou to do to declare my statutes, or that thou shouldest take my covenant in thy mouth? Seeing thou hatest instruction, and casteth my words behind thee. When thou sawest a thief, then thou consentedst with him, and hast been partaker with adulterers. Thou givest thy mouth to evil, and thy tongue frameth deceit. Thou sittest and speakest against thy brother; thou slanderest thine own mother’s son. These things hast thou done, and I kept silence; thou thoughtest that I was altogether such an one as thyself: but I will reprove thee, and set them in order before thine eyes. Now consider this, ye that forget God, lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver. Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me: and to him that ordereth his conversation aright will I shew the salvation of God. (Psalm 50:16-23)

For those who may proclaim God but practice the works of the devil there is a verse from above you need to seriously consider. God said, “I kept silence; thou thoughtest that I was altogether such an one as thyself”.

Rarely is there an immediate reaction to sin. When this happens repeatedly some people get the impression that God isn’t watching, doesn’t care or that He might even approve of the sinful act. Just know that God sees and knows everything and that there will be a price to be paid for each sin. As God said in the Psalm, “I will reprove thee, and set them in order before thine eyes.”

What should you do? Praise and glorify God and mean it. Match your deeds with your words and, “I shew the salvation of God.”
