Why is there Pain and Suffering on Earth?

Why is there Pain and Suffering on Earth?

The world is of the devil. When Adam and Eve fell from grace, sin and iniquity were allowed to rein (and reign). Pain and suffering are the by-products of sin. Sin is the sting of death. This is the world we live in.

God in His mercy shined His ever loving light onto man. This light shows the way, the truth and the life of and through Jesus Christ. It is our escape from this sinful, pain filled world into an existence originally designed for man, a world of perfection, beauty and love.

God’s domain is invisible to this present world. It is not natural but rather supernatural. It is invisible and eternal. It is a place of love, joy and peace, where sin, iniquity and pain and death are no more.

Our happiness here on earth is the assurance of God’s promises and our faith and belief in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. Jesus said, “In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33). Those who understand this are of the light. But those of the world are in darkness and cannot see the truth.

Those of this world, the world of pain and suffering seek things of this world to relieve the pain. This is a double edged sword in that any pain relief available will be topical and temporal. Death is still at the door. Only through Christ can we be saved.

Pain and suffering will always rein in this world because through one man, Adam sin did come. But through another man, Jesus Christ did salvation arrive.

One day the world shall end and death and Hell will be destroyed. So will those who are of this world.

Jesus said, “Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.” (John 14:1-4).
