“Are Natural Disasters Like Hurricane Matthew An Instrument of God‘s Judgement? Billy Graham Weighs In” is the headline of an article that appeared in “The Gospel Herald” and written by Leah Marieann Klett
Reverend Billy Graham responds.
“We don’t necessarily know why God allows natural disasters to occur; sometimes Satan seems to have a hand in them,” Graham concludes. “But the time to prepare for life’s crises is now, not when they strike. Is your faith and trust in Christ, and are you seeking to live for Him every day, no matter what happens.”
Notice how Reverend Graham’s response leads us to Christ.
But Hillary Clinton believes that climate change is a manmade phenomenon and that we need to elect a President who will “address” the situation. Clinton believes that man causes the climate to change, that he has the power to alter the weather and to forever determine the world’s environment. At a campaign rally in Miami with former Vice President Al Gore, Hillary Clinton claimed that, “Hurricane Matthew was likely more destructive because of climate change”. Clinton is saying that man has caused the climate to change and that climate change (manmade) caused Hurricane Matthew to become worse than it would have been otherwise. In short, Hillary is blaming man for Hurricane Matthew.
“Plus, as you know, the impact of climate change goes beyond extreme events like hurricanes. It’s become a daily reality here in Miami.” Clinton added at the rally.
At Hillary’s website she wants to, “Make environmental justice and climate justice central priorities” and wants to set up an “Environmental and Climate Justice Task Force”
Notice that Hillary Clinton’s response to climate change leads us to her and more government and not Jesus Christ.
Reverend Billy Graham said he doesn’t know why God allows natural disasters. One only needs to read the first two chapters of the Book of Job to see that God sometimes allows Satan control of the elements and does so for God’s reason’s and His purposes.
But Hillary Clinton thinks man is in control. She thinks that man can control the weather, hurricanes, the earth and the heavens.
Hillary Clinton and Al Gore have as much effect on climate change, hurricanes and weather as God will allow them to have. Clinton has made weather a political issue and a political platform. This is very dangerous. People like Clinton and Gore what us to think that man has control over God’s creation so we must have someone elected in charge of being in control of it.
I have a question for Hillary. It’s the same question God asked Job. “Knowest thou the ordinances of heaven? canst thou set the dominion thereof in the earth?” (Job 38:33).
I would especially like to ask Hillary and Al Gore another question God asked Job. “Who is this that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge?” (Job 38:2).
Now would be a good time for everyone to read all of chapter 38 in the Book of Job. God makes clear who is in charge.
I’ll leave Hillary with this question from God found in Chapter 38 of the Book of Job.
“Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding” (Job 38:4).
God created the heaven and the earth. What, pray tell do Hillary Clinton or Al Gore know that God doesn’t? What can Clinton or Gore do that God can’t?
“The earth is the Lord’s, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods. Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord? or who shall stand in his holy place?” (Psalm 24:1-3)
