Change Unto God

“And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation” (2 Corinthians 5:18)

All things are of God, underscore, “All” things are of God. Good, bad and everything in between.

God

“I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord do all these things.” (Isaiah 45:7).

And with the power of “All” God has reconciled or changed us unto himself through Jesus Christ. We are Christ like. We are children of God. We have been made a new and born again.

Not only have we changed, but God gave us the ministry of change. When Christ is in us and we are in Christ we have the power and ability of reconciliation. We have the ability to bring people to God through Jesus Christ.

“Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God; Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.” (2 Corinthians 3:5-6)

“To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God. For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” (2 Corinthians 5:19-21)

Our sins have not been accounted against us. God, through Christ has restored us unto himself. Now we are ambassadors or representatives of Christ as if God had asked us himself. Be changed unto God. For if you do then we will become the righteousness of God for he made Jesus Christ, who knew no sin to be sin for us.

There isn’t a greater honor and miracle than to have your sins forgotten, to become the righteousness of God, to be ambassadors of Christ and to have a ministry of change, of reconciliation, bringing all those who will hear to God.
